Those who love learning about the history and monuments of the world heritage will not stop after visiting Poreč and its Euphrasian Basilica. Only one hour's drive away they will find Pula, the largest Istrian town rich in antique Roman monuments, with the Arena, an amphitheatre from the 1st century, being the most imposing one. Equally enchanting are the countless small stone towns on hilltops, like Motovun or Grožnjan. In most of these destination you will find cultural events – film or music festivals, for example.
